Virtual Technology, Inc is a privately held INC 500 company that specializes in providing large organizations with high end server and networking equipment. The company was founded in 1983 by former executives of the Burroughs Corporation, now known as Unisys. The company originally provided mainframe equipment and became the first to develop proprietary hardware disk arrays and tape arrays for extremely large Unisys sites. Customers of these products include many large banks like Standard Federal and Societe Generale. These products were marketed directly to end users from Michigan in the USA, and via Versailles, France for International accounts.
In 1995, Virtual Technology began providing products and services for UNIX based systems. Virtual is unique, as it addresses the needs of large server sites the same way large mainframe sites are accustomed to being supported. This “mission critical” atmosphere has existed for over twenty years, and it is a permanent part of our culture here at Virtual Technology, Inc. |
